I Am a Cat

Last week or so I was looking for a Japanese Poetry book in the library. Though I found the Japanese literature section it was impossible for me to find the title I was looking for so I was about to leave or just grab another book when I saw "I Am a Cat." Liking cats I took the book off the self and read the forward to it and immediately knew I had to check it out. I have been reading a pretty good amount of it so far and it is a very entertaining book. Its written from the point of view of a cat living with a school teacher and his middle class family in Japan during the Russo-Japanese war. The book is very humorous and sophisticated and I have loved every page of it so far.
