Swamped

...with assignments that are to be my final work for a class or papers that have been pushed back tell now and are crying to be finished. For the most part studying for the finals seems like a piece of cake if I can plow through these monotonous presentations and field work papers. As the end of the semester approaches I look forward to working on Chikas and my website more. Movie Reviews, wishlist pages, and fixing spelling mistakes are things I have on my little white paper list and are the tasks I would relish doing in place of this closing work. Perhaps one of the big adventures of the summer will be my moving to Arkansas although, the best by far will be meeting Chika at the airport when she comes back. As for the matter of finding an interesting and defiantly more unique than your average bear blog on the internet check out the Blindfold Blog. Its about a girl who is undergoing a program to become a seeing eye dog trainer and is being blind folded for 15 days while attending a seeing eye dog school for the blind.

Lengthy Commercials

Lets face it commercials are too long. I don't think IM getting senile but its to the point where I forget what IM even watching on TV because the commercials are so long. Now with the introduction of new technology like TiVo getting more popular I think its only a matter of time tell we get to the point where everyone is going to just start fast forwarding and skipping through the commercials. When I was in Japan commercials did not feel like they were one half the program. The commercial breaks on Japanese television are about 3 minutes long and aren't loud and annoying for the most part. I really think American television ads need to change to be shorter and more entertaining otherwise people have no reason to watch them anymore, and what's the point of having commercials on TV if eventually everyone will skip them.

Daylight savings

There is a really interesting watch that you can see running here. I think it would be great to have this watch but seeing as there website asks you to contact them about the price I doubt I could afford it. Recently it was daylight savings time and the clocks were moved forward an hour. It is interesting to know that not all country's follow daylight savings, most of the country's in South American, Africa, and Asia don't go by the system. I think there probably right in doing so because I'm always so tired that first day the clocks change.

New Blog Program

Well I was looking for a way to easily be able to update, post, and manage this page without being at my home computer and it looks like I found the way with Blogger. So this page will hopefully get some more attention now. Both Chika and I can post here from any computer (well almost any) so there should be some good stuff coming in the future.
